“Waise toh Urdu ko hamesha se ek shireen zuban kaha jata hai lekin Urdu hi woh zaban hai jisne humme lafz-e -inquilab bhi diya hai”.(Urdu has always been considered as one of the sweetest languages but this language also embodies rebellion in its expression)
They say,”The inspiration for the present comes from the past.” In the currently prevalent times, where everything you do determines whether you are patriotic or not, may be it is a good time to review what patriotism really means to us. Are you a nationalist or not? We revisit India’s freedom struggle.
“The sword of revolution is sharpened on the whetting stone of ideas”, Bhagat Singh once said. Ideas of not one mind but many, who toiled day and night with the sole objective of making India free again from the shackles of oppression and control. The poetess through her poem attempts to remind us the several sacrifices our freedom fighters made for our motherland. These heroes contributed in union and didn’t let opposition hinder their common goal. Today some people for their selfish motives are trying to change facts and give selected credit, we should not fall prey to such propaganda. People die but their ideas stay forever.
Azaadi.e.hind ki woh kahani toh yaad hongi.
Ladhe jo woh baagi wonki kurbaani toh yad hongi
1857 se shuru jo hoa tha who Angrezo ka zawal
yaad honga Mangal Pande, vo bahadur Shah Zafer ka jalaal
Ladhe jo watan.e. Azaadi k liye wonki fehrisht taveel hai
Tarikh.e.hind kitaabo inn ki wonki pukhta daleel hai
Kaise naam likh doon mein kisi ek fard ka
Jazba tha woh awaam, bagawat woh itehhaad ka
Dekh josh itehaad ka hakim ne chali chaal.e. makkari
Naam mazhab ka le ker logo mein fir wosne phoot daali.
Lay k mazhabi pehchaan har sehri, raste per nikal pada tha
Her ghar kabrstaan or aagan shamshaan sa jal raha tha
Insaaniyat be gonaho k laasho mein dab gayi thi
Ek watan kii pehchaan do naqsho mein batt gayi thi
Apne AAYEEN kii hifazat k liye fir se hume ek saath aana honga….
